The Terms and conditions apply to all mail order sites owned and operated by Eurolincs Trading Limited. It is recommended that you should read these terms before placing any transaction with Eurolincs Trading Limited. If you have any questions, concerns or queries in relation to these terms, then please contact the company at the address provided. We reserve the right to change the Terms and Conditions without any prior notice to Users.

All website contents and photography are subject to copyright and reproduction in any form is strictly prohibited. Eurolincs Trading Limited reserve the right to charge for site images used without prior notice and granted permissions.

AUTHORITY TO PURCHASE

The User is required to have the authority to purchase and remain liable for the cost incurred. If the purchase is made on behalf of a third party, It is assumed, they (must) have the authority to make the purchase and ensure payment or become liable for the cost of the purchase. The User should ensure the information provided is accurate and true to your knowledge. You agree not to impersonate any other person or entity or to use a false name or a name that you are not authorised to use. All cases of fraud are reported to the Police and we reserve the right to take all necessary legal action in any such case.

INDEMNITY

You agree to fully indemnify, Eurolincs Trading Limited and our directors, employees and suppliers, harmless immediately on demand, from and against all claims, liability, damages, losses, costs and expenses, including legal fees, arising out of any breach of the Conditions by you or any other liabilities arising out of your use of the Website, or the use by any other person accessing the Website using your User Information.

PRODUCTS

We retain the right to: Control all items and products sold on the Website without notice to Users and we shall not be made liable to you or any third party for any modification to or withdrawal of a product from the Website.

ORDERS

All orders are subject to acceptance in accordance with product availability and payment terms. Should the item purchased not be in stock you will be contacted by telephone, e-mail or as appropriate and offered the option to cancel your order and receive a refund, to wait for the item to return to stock or accept an alternative product.

Made to order products are non-refundable.

BACK-ORDERS

In some cases, we allow backorders for certain products on our website. This stock is usually out of stock or is limited. If you order a product while on backorder, we’ll discuss with you, prices and lead supply time. We aim to fulfil all these orders within 30 days. An order will be placed with our supplier for your products and will be fulfilled within 72 hours of the goods arriving in our warehouse. Please note, items that are ordered through backorder are NOT subject to our usual delivery timelines. Please contact our customer service team if you require additional information regarding your back ordered items.

PRODUCT SPECIFICATION

Each Product purchased is sold subject to its Product specification. Every effort is made to ensure that each specific measurement is as accurate as possible and based on recognised industry standards of conformity and tolerances. Eurolincs Trading Limited accepts no liability for any loss or damages occurred from the product supplied out-of-tolerance, in excess of the cost of replacing the faulty product.

PRODUCT COMPATIBILITY

Each product sold is manufactured from an internationally and commonly known material. The responsibility lies with the customer for testing the compatibility of the product purchased. Eurolincs Trading Limited accepts no liability for any loss or damages from the User selecting wrong products or use outside the scope of product purchased or by not following manufacturers or our advertised, instructions on fixed label on products or the user guidelines and safety precautions.

PRODUCT GUARANTEE

To the fullest extent permissible under applicable law, we disclaim any and all warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, in relation to the Products. Should the product prove to have been manufactured faulty then our liability extends on to the cost of the replacement of the faulty products only.

REFUSAL OF TRANSACTION

We reserve the right to refuse to process any order for any reason or refuse service to anyone at any time at our sole discretion. We retain the right to credit a transaction and cancel the order at any stage of the process prior to delivery.

ACCOUNT TRANSACTIONS

We reserve the right to cancel or suspend an account should the payment Terms and Conditions of the Users account not be met. By applying for a credit account, you automatically authorise us to transmit information or to obtain information about you and your organisation from third parties including but not limited to your credit card number or credit reports to authenticate your identity, to validate your credit card, to obtain an initial credit card authorisation and to authorise individual or organisation purchase transactions.

PRICE CONFIRMATION

All prices quoted on the website are exclusive of VAT at the current rates. The total cost of your order is the price of the Products ordered plus Shipping Charges & VAT. You will receive an emailed confirmation of our receipt of your order. Credit/Debit Card Payments will be debited and cleared from your account before the despatch of your Products (orders). Account-holders must ensure their account is ‘in terms’ and have sufficient funds to meet the order total, prior to any order being despatched. At checkout you’re required to enter details of your Credit/Debit Card to complete the transaction. We Do Not retain or store any information from your credit/debit card details in the company or on the system. The company receives confirmation of your payment directly from our Payment Processing Service providers, Stripe and PAYPAL.

From time to time, we will run promotions. These will be time limited and cannot be honoured if the code is not used at the point of checkout. All promotions exclude wholesale products as well as aluminium items and bespoke orders.

EUROPEAN ORDERS

Our European operation is currently limited to orders over £150. This affects all destination within the European Union and European Free Trade Area (EFTA). Despatching to our European customers is under constant review and we alter deliveries as soon as it is feasible.

When placing an order, you agree that any duties payable upon importation are paid by you the customer. As of 1 January 2021, goods imported from GB to an EU Member State are subject to VAT in the Member State concerned, at the rate that applies to the same goods in that Member State. If delivery is refused and the goods are returned to us, your order minus 12% order value will be refunded. We will not refund the delivery charge paid on order.

Orders to some countries may require mandatory identification from customers before delivery, where the value of order is greater than a certain sum of money. This is a domestic law (country or countries in EU where applicable) and is applicable to all deliveries. The liability to provide identification is with the customer. Failure to do so will result in your order being returned to us. When placing an order, you accept that orders returned will be minus delivery charges due to lack of identification.

COMPLIANCE WITH LAWS

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England, and you irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England. The Website may be used only for lawful purposes and in a lawful manner. You agree to comply with all applicable laws, statutes and regulations regarding the Website and any transactions conducted on or through the Website. Within the constraints of the Law, you use this website at your own risk as we accept no liability from any loss or damage caused by its use. These Terms and Conditions do not affect your statutory rights as a consumer. We will not be liable, in contract, tort including, without limitation, negligence, pre-contract or other representations (other than fraudulent or negligent misrepresentations) or otherwise out of or in connection with the Conditions for any economic losses (including without limitation loss of revenues, profits, contracts, business, anticipated savings or costs); or any loss of goodwill or reputation; or any special or indirect losses; in any case whether or not such losses were within the contemplation of the parties at the date of the Conditions, suffered or incurred by that party arising out of or in connection with the provisions of any matter under the Conditions. If any part of the Conditions shall be deemed unlawful, void or for any reason unenforceable, then that provision shall be deemed to be severable from the Conditions and shall not affect the validity and enforceability of any of the remaining provisions of the Conditions.

Our Intention is to supply all orders in line with current legislation within 30 days, however, we do try to fulfil all orders within 7 working days from stock, please note however this is not a guarantee. As described within our Terms and Conditions every reasonable effort will be made to contact you should the delivery date be in excess of 7 working days. Eurolincs Trading Limited accepts No liability for any loss or damages caused by late delivery of any order. However, we cannot be held liable for any costs or damages which result from any failure in meeting any agreed delivery circumstances.

Same Day Despatch Deliveries

For most products, we offer our customers Free Same Day Despatch. If your order vale is £15 or over (including VAT), is placed before 2:00 pm (Monday to Friday) and the items, you have ordered are in stock your order will be despatched and placed with our courier on same working day. All orders £15 or less (including VAT) will be subject to a delivery charge of £3.75. All orders are sent via tracked delivery service. We use Royal Mail Economy Tracked delivery or an equivalent courier delivery and aim to delivery your order in 5-7 working days following the day of dispatch.

Next Working Day Priority Delivery

We also offer customers the option to upgrade their order for a priority next working day delivery (orders placed before 2:00pm) for single delivery charge of £8.99 (regardless the size of order).

Please Note – This service is subject to our couriers’ terms and conditions. Our Priority Service covers the despatch of your order. Next Working Day delivery Guarantee is assumed discharged once the courier has collected the order and a first acceptance scan is made on their system. If the courier fails to deliver the order on the following working day for any unforeseen circumstances, we cannot be held liable and no refund for delivery charge will be offered.

REDELIVERY OF GOODS

It is important that there is someone to accept your delivery as each consignment may require a signature. Your order can be delivered between 8am-7pm Monday to Friday (where Royal Mail is the courier it may deliver on Saturday). If despite all courier attempts, we are unable to deliver your order to you, the goods will be returned to our warehouse at a cost of 10% of your original order value or £12 whichever is greater. You will be charged the standard rate of shipping again to redeliver your goods.

If you have missed a delivery, please contact our carrier who will have left a calling card in the first instance. If you are unable to contact our carrier, please contact our customer service team on 0871 245 8890 or send us an email info@edgingtapesanddiy.co.uk or chat with our customer representative via chat bubble on our website.

IMPORTANT

Always check your purchases on receipt for shortages or damage. You must report any problems within 48 hours of delivery. Claims for damage within transit require you to keep all packaging for inspection. We MUST insist you follow these instructions for claims and any problems reported after 48 hours from delivery are at the discretion of Eurolincs Trading Limited. Please quote your order number in all correspondence. Proof of Delivery: You agree that proof of delivery supplied by our delivery company is sufficient evidence to establish that goods have been received.

RETURNS POLICY

User’s rights to return goods are protected under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.

You are entitled to cancel your order and return your goods within 14 days (receiving your order) for a refund, excluding the cost of delivery and a 12% handling charge (this is to cover the cost of an inspection to ensure goods are in a saleable condition and returned to our stock). If you return the order after 14 days but before 30 days of purchasing it we’ll only offer an exchange.

To return your goods to us you need to either contact us by Email: info@edgingtapesanddiy.co.uk or telephone 0871 245 8890 and quote the invoice number supplied to you. Your refund will be paid within 14 days of receipt of the goods by us. In the event, goods need to be returned it is the responsibility of the customer to cover the cost of adequate insurance and the cost of the return. This cancellation policy does not affect your rights when we are at fault – for example, if goods are faulty or damaged.

Any goods returned must be unused and in a re-saleable condition.

PRIVACY POLICY

Eurolincs Trading Limited does not disclose buyers’ information to third parties other than when order details are processed as part of the order fulfilment. In this case, the third party will not disclose any of the details to any other third party.

Please note that where applicable when calls are recorded this will be done for quality control and training purposes.

What Information Do We Collect From You?

Eurolincs Trading Limitedmay ask you to input and collect the following information during the browsing and ordering process on this website: Customer Name, Billing Address, Shipping Address, Telephone Number, Email Address and Customer Password.

When you enter payment information, this is not held by Eurolincs Trading Limited, but collected by our Third Party payment processors (WorldPay and PayPal) in a secure manner (see Who Can See Your Information?).

How Can You Update Your Information?

You can update your personal information by creating and logging into an account. We ask for your name, email address, shipping address, billing address and telephone number when you create an account, all of which can be updated by yourself simply by logging into your account using your email and secure password.

Recording Information

Please note that telephone calls made to Eurolincs Trading Limited (where recording is applicable you’ll be notified as vocal message before connecting to a support member) are recorded for quality control and training purposes. Emails and other messages sent through our social media accounts are archived and can be referred to in order to resolve issues that may arise during the ordering or with customer aftercare.

Sales invoices may need to be kept for up to 7 years in order for Eurolincs Trading Limited to retrospectively provide tax information to HMRC (please see Right To Erasure).

Our Security Precautions

This website has a valid security certificate which means that your information (for example, passwords or credit card numbers) is private when it is sent to this site. For more information, click on the lock symbol that appears next to the URL of the website which will give you the full information.

When you initially create an account with Eurolincs Trading Limited, you will be asked to choose a secure and unique password that you can then use to access your account details. Once created, this password is stored in our online database in plain text and you can change it at any time via your account. If you forget your password, you can request it to be reset and the new password sent to your email address. Once you regain access to your account, we strongly advise that you then change this reset password to a brand new password in order to keep your account secure. We advise all our customers to pick a unique password that you do not use for any other online activity in order to maximise the security of your account. In the future, as this website is updated, we are looking into encrypting account passwords in our database to further increase security.

To add extra security and peace of mind when orders are placed over the phone, our call recording system will pause when you give your payment details.

If you are aged 16 or under, you must get your parent or guardian’s permission before you provide Eurolincs Trading Limited with personal information.

You have a right to ask Eurolincs Trading Limited for a copy of all the personal data that we hold about you, even if you do not wish to change it.

You can request this information by contacting us via email, telephone or post, where you will be asked to fill in our Data Request Form and return it to us. You will also be asked to provide us with a copy of your preferred proof of identification (birth certificate/driving license) before we can release the sensitive information to you. The Data Controller will be responsible for overseeing this action.

Right To Erasure

In accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulations 2018, you have the right to request that Eurolincs Trading Limited erases all personal data that we hold on you with immediate effect. In some cases, Eurolincs Trading Limited may have to retain certain vital information if we can prove that your data is needed to carry out other vital business processes, for example, filing tax returns (where we will need to retain sales invoices).
