Description

Konig Hard Was Stick in “Teak 138” colour is ideal for repairing large holes, deep scratches, chips on the edges, dents on a flat surface area. It is for surfaces that are subject to severe or repeated use. It is suitable for both natural timber and artificial surfaces. Different colours can be mixed to get the right colour.
Remove loose material from the damaged area. Score the surface area to improve adhesion of the filler. Use a gas or electric heat iron (available to buy separately) to fill the damaged area with the molten wax in the direction of grain, applying gentle pressure. Don’t use too much heat or let the smoke to develop. Scrape off excess wax with the Special Applicator Tool (available to buy separately). The repaired area can be matched to the color of the background by applying different shades one on top of the other. Seal and protect repaired area from dirt and dust with special repair Lacquer Plus (Available to order separately).
If required, the level of sheen can be matched by spraying on several thin layers of varnish.
